    Description

    Nice US Rifle Model 1892 Krag Bayonet with Sheath.  Comes with the belt loop attachment too.  Bayonet measures 16-1/4" overall with a blade length of 11-3/4".  Nice condition with some wear, use, some feathering/sharpeing to blade. Ricasso area of blade is marked, "US/1903".  Excellent wood grips with round rivets and marked, "4/ M.N.G./9/I  Excellent working press-stud ejector.  The scabbard has much original finish with some scattered rust/small pitting. Sheath steel is dent free and the belt loop attachment works correctly and moves from 10-2, left to right.  These were used on the Krag .30-40 Rifles in the Spanish American War and the early 1900's prior to WW1.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.  A well made item.
