RARE: Spanish American War Era  US Army McKeever Cartridge Box for .30-40 Krag Cartridges - Dated Rock Island Arsenal 1904 - Very Nice Condition
Up for sale is a RARE Spanish America War Era US Army Leather McKeever Cartridge Box for .30-40 Krag Cartridges.  The box is used, see photo's for Condition.  The leather is soft and supple.  No rips or tears in the leather.  Nice US marking on the front and manufacturer markings on the side.  The interior canvas cartridge pockets have be replaced with a leather cartridge insert.  The insert has been placed in the box using velcro backings, see photo. The edge of the box is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1904.
This is a very hard to find pre-WWI era cartridge box.  It would makes a welcomed addition to any WWI Collection.
