    Mid Atlantic redware teapot. Has a metallic sheen. Similar examples known to be manufactured in Philadelphia and Baltimore. This teapot was acquired in Baltimore. Circa 1825.
    Has several small chips to the inner rim of the teapot where the lid sits and two chips to the spout. Also has a crack around the foot rim that runs up the side towards the handle.
    Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide from spout to handle x 6 7/8 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
